09B. Sub-Poll: Heat-treated Blue or Black Dornbluth hands for Classic Watch?

This poll is now closed; the result is not unanimous, but an overwhelming majority prefers the heat-blued hands.

Note that this will increase the price of the Classic watch by $15

This thread is only to be used for voting for the color of the Handset for the
Classic Watch in the 2016 WUS Peacock Project.
Refer to the Design- and General Discussion Threads for exactly that, your comments, suggestions and discussions

We have listened, heard you and gone back to Thomas.
The good news that Thomas will be able to offer heat-treated blued hands for this project, comes at a price of $15.
Blueing watch-hands in a flame is an art, has to be done manually and the failure rate is high.
Hence the price increase if we opt for this feature.

Take notice, it will be a feature, meaning it's not an individual option.

Either all watches receive black hands at the prognoses project costs, or all watches receive blued hands, causing the project cost to increase by $15

Please read the voting instructions carefully:

    • Only members who have expressed their interest “officially” and are included in the registry, are eligible to vote (we cross-reference votes against this registry).
    • Also, can we please ask that only those with intentions to buy this particular version of the 2016 WUS Peacock Project watches do vote in this poll
    • This will be a simple vote, blue (heat treated) or black. The winner takes it all.
    • Do realize that the Blue-option will raise the price for the Classic watches by $15

We have rendered the Classic watch with blued hands below, but, true to real life,, it's very difficult to capture the actual (changing) color.
Still, we hope this helps your decision

And yes, even though this render may suggest otherwise, the sub-dials will be recessed.

Voting will close on Sunday, 4th of September @22:00 (GMT)

    Let the voting begin

Thank you so much for this vote, I really appreciate all the effort put into coordinating this mad house.

My vote is for blue, the price increase is too small for the added value and quality.

Edit: Holly Molly, this may be the first vote won unanimously.
