    Site etiquette question.

As a new guy here, and despite being more of a watch dilettante than hardcore, I do have a few watches i would like to acquire. There is watch for sale on here that I'm interested in and I have pm'd the seller but have received no response, is that an indicator that I'm wasting my time?
    TIA

    Not necessarily.

Given the time of year, people may still be away.

It's also a watch forum, not a sales business, so not everyone logs on every day to check their messages.

The seller may even be in a different time zone to you!

What sort of time frame are we talking about here?

If it's an old listing, or you have been waiting a few days, I'd suggest you give up...

yeah, If you really want it, I wouldn't be shy to email a few times; maybe explain that you're new but have feedback on other forums.

Bernie, I would just move on. Whatever watch you are looking at is probably available on other watch websites.

Yeah, I know... Ironically, he seems to have a solid reputation, which is what lead me to try here, despite being the new guy. There's a couple of others out there but no reputation.
