Affordable divers - Invicta 8926 or Casio mdv106?

I have had both at different times so hard to compare the 2. Obviously the Invicta is automatic where as the Casio is quartz. The Invicta as far as I remember is more of a luxurious look.

Basically wondering which would offer more value for the money as a beater.

    Thanks.

Care to elaborate? Price-wise citizen bno150-28e is not that far from invicta but have superior quality.

Its like the old joke with the line in it: 'If I was going there I wouldn't start from here'

It may come across as annoying to be told that but we are just trying to be helpful -
there are better affordable divers than the two you have posited

But, if you want to only chose between a Casio Diver & an Invicta, I'd buy a Casio Duro MDV106-1A which is a good un

But do consider the Seiko SKX or even new Seiko5 divers or one of the awesome Russian Vostok Amphibias

the Casio. The Invicta might look nicer but there aren't many that will do the job of beater better than the duro.

Another vote for Casio but it’s 44mm which is quite a bit bigger than the Invicta. But you probably know that already.

I'm asking between the Invicta and the Casio, which is better value beater.

I bought the Casio for around $40, the Citizen for around $90, and the Invicta for around $50.

Out of the three, I wear the Citizen the most because it's the most accurate, the most comfortable (thanks to the crown at 4 o'clock), and has the best lume. The Casio is rarely worn because I have several other Casios (primarily G-Shocks) that are better at "beater duty." As for the Invicta, I find it a little too "dressy-looking" for "beater duty" and I'm not a big fan of its cyclops and bezel. In terms of "cost per wear," the Citizen represents the best value for me. However, if I had to choose between the Casio and Invicta for "beater duty," I'd go with the Casio.

Of course, considering that all three can be had for under $200...
