Anyone order the new Precista PRS-3 LE??

Just curious if anyone has ordered the new Precista PRS-3 L.E.??

If so what dial choice did you make and what reasons for buying this watch do you have?

Has anyone got any wrist shots??

Anyone in the U.K. with some real photos??

I know TZ-UK but I am wondering if any WUS members have one and their honest opinions.

I ordered one in the black dial, still waiting. A bit of sticker shock when I went to a currency converter, was considering a blue one as well. Will post when it arrives in next couple of days.

I ordered a blue one but haven't recieved it yet. Will certainly post pics when I get it though.

Given Eddie's previous work and the use of ETA movement, I think this watch represents good value even if you convert to dollars when you compare it to other watches in similar price range
    Watch list:

    Omega Speedmaster Pro 3570.50
, Tudor Black Bay Black Bezel eta, Tudor Pelagos LHD, Rolex Sea Dweller 16600

I could not agree more. Regardless of the exchange rate it is very reasonably priced for the specs.

If you think the exchange rate is bad now, give it a few months

I couldn't decide between the orange or yellow, so bought both

Yellow dial on the supplied bracelet

Orange dial on a black zulu

Not sure that I'll keep them both, but can't decide which I prefer at the moment.

My honest opinion is it's a nice watch, and good value at £340. It's not my favourite of Eddie's watches (prefer the Dreadnought & Italian) but it has the usual high quality feel of a Precista, and very comfortable on either strap (I haven't tried it on leather yet).

    Toshi,

    Those are awesome pics!!

I love the Orange and Yellow dials.

I am wondering about the bezel. It looks very slim. From the profile pics on TF website it looks like the bezel is thicker. Can you give me an estimation on the size in mm in thickness from the case edge to the top of the bezel.

One of the things I like about the original was the taller bezel design and big chapter ring. It seems the chapter ring on this is also thinner.

All in all it still looks very nice and your pictures are really stunning. The dial colors are really nice. The attention to detail and finishing look awesome!! Wear them in good health. I would find a way to keep both. How can you choose??

If I had to make a choice I would keep the orange dial.

Rob, --- Thanks for generating some feedback on this new PRS 3 -- hard to get a subjective perspective on this one as recipients are still enjoying the thrill of newness -- I'm very interested in the blue dial myself

Looking forward to hearing from Mr Boots

    Thanks Rob

Re: Anyone order the new Precista PRS-3 LE??

I'd love to hear the opinions on how the bezel is on the new PRS-3. I have found Eddie's Precista watch bezels to be somewhat mediocre. I am referring to the bezel action and click quality. I have owned the PRS-18 and PRS-17. The PRS-18 had a nice tall bezel that was easy to grip, however the bezel's click quality was not what I expected. It is advertised as a 120 click bezel, but it felt more like a 60 click bezel that had a clunky clumsy feel to it. The PRS-17 had a low profile bezel that was very difficult to grip and also it had the same click feel as the PRS-18 I owned. I've always been a fan of Precista watches and what they offer for a very reasonable price. In my opinion the bezel action is the only weakness of Precistas.

The bezel is approx 3mm tall and 6mm wide.

This might help give a better impression
