Automatic dive watch question.

I have owned this Orient ray for just about a month now and suddenly it went from gaining about +2 sec a day to losing 3 or more sec a day. I have not changed my wearing habits so why such a dramatic shift. I know that is still within regulation but any ides or solutions? Thanks for any help.

Generally speaking this isn't an issue, as I have noticed this on a couple of my watches as well.

If you want somewhere to start looking though; have you recently accidentally had the watch close to a magnetic source? That's the only explanation I can think of, aside from it being normal. Unless you drop it on a hard surface or something. Now that would cause some issues.

I think i might have dropped it once and now that i think about it, it was around the time it started having issues with losing time. Is there any way to get it back to normal?

It may have something to do with how you are storing the watch. Crown up, crown down, dial up or dial down could make the difference.

Do you know what positions affect gain/loss. Also I'm letting the watch wind all the way down then readjusting the time to try to reset everything. The crown is the thing you use to set the time correct?
