Given that a google search turns up a handful of weird discount retailers and one expired eBay post, I’m a no. Is it really 56mm, that’s just silly?

Save a few more bucks and get a Seiko.

    Welcome to the forum, though!

I like my watches big but if it’s really 56mm it’ll be a right monster.

Do they even make watches? I thought Body Glove made wetsuits and half suits for surfers.

Fashion junk watch. It'll loose it's appeal and end up in the junk drawer.

It gives me pleasure to see time fly by on a nice watch.

Not that it's relevant to this discussion, per se, but one the coolest watches around, the WWII B-Uhrs are 55mm watches. Yes, they're big, but for a reason.

I suppose if one has a need for a big watch, better to get one than to get a smaller one that less ably serves one's purposes.

My oopinion on the "wrist presence" of that watch is:
    1. At 56mm, it has a lot of it, &
    2. If one has a need, perhaps for visibility, for such a big watch, go for it, for what other similarly priced alternatives are there?

True, if your reason for buying the watch is to attach limpet mines onto allied shipping in the dark of a moonless night then I say yes, go for it. Also, if you are planning on wearing said watch around your neck when you appear in rap videos, Flavour Flave style, then I again say go for it. If not, it may be a touch ostentatious.
