Bronze Dive Watches, bronze bezel insert or no?

I am thinking of getting this proxima from wrwatches. Not sure whether to go full bronze and get a bronze bezel insert as well or does it look too messy when it starts to patina in different ways?

I know oris make a full bronze one, and I never liked the bezel insert on them.

The watch looks nice, I wish they paid someone to design them a better logo, it just looks like the brand name on a standard free font. SAN MARTIN are the worst with this, they used to have a JTM/shark logo, but now they have the text SAN MARTIN put on and it looks cheap and lazy.

Also, do they use genuine NH35 movements from seiko, or are they cloned in china?

I wish they had a cloned eta 2824 version for sale. I could get a watchmarker to swap out the movement later on with a gen eta one.

I like my bronze insert San Martin with "cheap and lazy"-looking logo. But if it really bothers you, I think they do a sterile version, too.

Ultimately it’s what you like the look of!!

My preference is all bronze/brass, as I like the Patina, and to me it’s what owning a bronze or brass case is all about.

Recently had a debate in the Panerai forum over a choice of a 671, all bronze or a 968, brown ceramic Bezel, and the 671 won easily for me.

Like Clive said “it’s what you like”. Personally I like to see a bezel in something other than bronze to provide more variety.

I am in the "non-bronze bezel on a bronze case" band:

I think that styled appropriately, either approach can look smashing!
BTW, my only bronze watch so far has a black ceramic bezel.
