    Citizen NY-0040

I would like to present you a review that our colleague Victor wrote about the Citizen NY-0040. It has surprised me a lot, the truth. I have to admit that I myself have been one of many that we have always set on the seiko 007/009 ( so that I bought one of each) But I also have to admit that the Citizen, objectively , its at the same level, but one point higher. what do you think? We compare?

Here the review. hope you like my friends and courage in this difficult situation.

I enjoyed reading the article, thank you!

However, I do want to double-check this claim: "En 1977, Citizen sacó al mercado el NY-0040 Promaster."

That doesn't sound right to me. Did the NY-0040 really come out in 1977? I would have thought it were a product from the 1990s.

Thanks for posting the article — it was an interesting read. As for comparing the Seiko 007/009 to the Citizen NY-0040, it is my understanding that the Citizen NY-0040 may have the edge on the Seiko 007/009 when it came to quality and durability.

It’s a really good looking watch, the crown position has always put me off which is why I always went skx. Now though, I’m warming to the crown and would definitely consider one.

The same here! I tried once and after a while the crown was digging in my wrist. I wear my watches rather high. That was the reason I went for the Citizen 0150 Solar and the SKX.

That picture of the Italian diver wearing the watch is badass.

For me, loving the SKX, this Citizen beats up the Seiko. It's most rude, chuncky and easy to use underwater.

It works so good like a desk diver too

    Here a few more pics
