Which Dive Watch should I buy next?

Hi everyone. Semi new here. Trolled around and posted replies here and there. This is my first thread post looking for some advice.

I'm in the market for my next dive watch. I've owned a few, sold a few on subreddits.

Currently my dive watch collection consists of:
-Seiko Samurai Save the Ocean "Great White"
    -Orient Kamasu red dial
-Orient Kano black on black on Uncle Seiko waffle strap

My budget for my next diver is around $800 and I have a few in mind.
Open to other ideas as well. Currently the divers on the radar are:

    1. Helson Shark Diver 38 titanium blasted (back in stock November 2019) $649
    2. Christopher Ward Trident Pro 600 (back in stock December 2019) $775-$900
    3. Buy 2 Traska Freedivers (1 black dial sapphire bezel and 1 mint or gray dial stainless bezel) $800 for both

I understand the Helson is more of a tool watch and the others are not. These are just the models I've narrowed it down to for now based on endless hours of YouTube, podcast, and forum searches.

Anywho, thanks in advance for the input.
I'll keep trolling around and I'm sure I'll find more watches to spend money on.

Trident Pro 600! Quality is superb, probably the best amongst watches in the sub-$2K market, IMHO.

I think they are running a coupon now too that ends today.

Thanks! I looked on their site and couldn't find a coupon. Do you remember where you saw it?

I'll send you a PM. I don't want to look like a shill, haha.

FWIW, I have no affiliation. I just like their stuff.

What are you trying to get out of the watch? Is this your 9-5 piece, or for after hours... or weekend play?

I like the Helson but I'm more a tool watch guy. It has its own style and the subtle dial design is nice.

If I was going to go with a CW I'd personally look at their bronze diver.

The Traska is ok, but I wouldn't get two. If you really want to go that route, grab one and spend the other $300-400 on another micro. I've never been a fan of having the same watch in different colors etc.

Squale's 1521 collection is high on my list at this price point.

Glycine and Zelos are others worth considering.

Out of those I’d go for the Trident most definitely.

    More of a weekend play.
The Helson I definitely wouldn't take to work. I have a Hamilton khaki, Victorinox Chrono, and a G Shock for work. (duties at work dictate which watch I wear)
I'm just really looking for a step up on my next dive watch. Truth is I want them all, but right now just funds for one. I guess my real question should have been should I buy a better quality tool watch first or an every day watch first. Thanks for your input. I'll look into the bronze diver. Never thought of them.

Thanks. That's where I'm leaning if I go every day diver.
