    Glycine Combat vs Seiko Prospex

I'm looking to buy one of the above for when I'm boating, in the yard, doing swim laps. Essentially a beater watch. Of the 2 above which in your opinion is more reliable and up to taking some punishment? Thanks in advance.

I own quite a few Seiko divers and a few Glycine divers. Both represent great value for your money. Both brands should hold up over time equally well.

Don’t honestly think you can go wrong with either. Personally I lean toward Seiko watches because I like them.

Whatever you like best really, I’ve always been seiko but the combat sub is definitely cool

I've never had experience with a Glycine Combat, but have read that many people like them. I absolutely love the Seiko Prospex lineup. I own a few of the models, on the cheaper end, and there are several others I lust after. They are great watches.

    Glycine all the way.

Bang for the buck Swiss watch. Smoothest crown action I have ever experienced and great fit/finish.

I would go with whichever design grabs you the most.
    Both make solid offerings.

I tend to prefer the Seiko divers, but I've eyed the Combat Sub several times.

I prefer Seiko but that's just me.

It's me too, and it's not close, but everyone should get what they they like.

The Glycine watches I have owned have been great. I'd still favour a Seiko Prospex series dive watch personally.
