Well, it was ok. I actually did a distillery tour of Talisker. It was very corporate, very rushed. Lots of sales pitches and puffing....
Oh, and newsflash: there was a distillery being built right by our hotel. Looks like Talisker will not be the only distillery in Skye any longer....
A lovely place, take a trip to Dunvegan castle for a bit of history on the place, and while your here try Innis & Gunn beer. Really good stuff there. .
My wife and I love the Isle of Skye! We have had the good fortune to visit there twice. As Tonysco suggested, be sure to visit Dunvagen. What a great place to visit. Enjoy the time on Skye. Cheers, Bill P.
