My first diver (Mido Ocean Star Captain IV)

    Hello everyone,

Here is my first diver, what do you think of it?

Although I posted these also in the general forum, I guess the pics would fit in the Divers section too

The eco bulb of my desk screws up the hue of the pics, so I'm not doing full justice to the watch.

Anyways would like to see other owners of this timepiece posting theirs..

Wow, I will repeat myself, wow. I have not seen this model before, but it sure strikes my eye with 'the right stuff'. Unusual but attractive hands. Beautiful royal and navy blues. Excellent multi layer texturing on the dial. Bezel looks like a really deep finish.

Then the camera pans away, and we get to see a bit more? Let's see the lugs, depth, back, and bracelet if you please :)

BTW how big is the case size?

Congrats. Nice watch. I like the pattern on the face. Reminds me a little bit of the Oris wave pattern. This may be your first, but if you are like the rest of us, this will not be your last. Watches, especially dive watches, tend to be like potato chips, you cannot eat just one.

The blue is stunning. Welcome to the dive watch world. It's now a slippery, but enjoyable slope to more. Congratulations.

I had been sort of done with divers - until this. I own two Midos and find the quality excellent for the price so this would be an easy buy to make. I could have a UN look in a quality piece for a fraction of the price. Thanks for sharing and wear it in good health.
