    Ocean Crawler Paladino

After buying 3 new Ocean Crawlers in the past, I asked Christian Champion to let me check out one of the demoís they have to share with the world. And here we are ! I will ship it back to him whenever he asks. There hasnít been a day I havenít worn it since it arrived 4 days ago. I donít do reviews as I only ask do this with watches I really love visually. I donít ever wanna give you all a super biased overhyped review so here are some thoughts.

Itís a perfect (to me) 44mm by 50mm lug to lug. It really wows me but not like Iím used to. Itís super understated from the top looking down but you can see the great finish immediately and how sweet the polished edge of the fixed bezel makes the watch look.

It came with a perfectly fitted orange rubber thatís not long enough for my 8.5in wrist, but thatís a given forever for me.

Hereís a closer look at the sandwich dial

Iím a big fan of dual crowns but this one has a sweet little surprise that nobody will probably ever notice, in real life, except for the owner. And I love it ! The casesides !

And pretty decent C3 lume that never disappoints

    And last but not least:

Hereís what it looks like on rubber. Picture taken by Ty Alexander:

If you have a Core Diver, the Paladino will wear a smidgen smaller. The Champion Diver wears about the same. The Navigator wears considerably smaller than the Paladino.

Feel free to ask me anything or even comment negatively.

I really love the retro vibe they gave to a Bremont inspired case. As a person that loves orange but always end up selling every single orange dial I buy, I can really appreciate the orange aluminum case sides. Just enough orange for me.

Pretty cool watch. Nice to see something that isnít derivative, or an out and out copy, of some other main stream watch.

Iím not a fan of internal bezel divers but if I was Iíd consider this one.

    Thank you !

I forgot to share that it has 2 lug hole positions which is just a small detail, but very appreciated, so I donít have to use curved spring bars all the time with my straps.

I just swapped to black cordura straps using straight spring bars.

How is the feel with the aluminum orange section? Is it lighter in weight?

I was all hot-to-trot for the green dial version. Really liked the overall dial design. But I changed my mind when I got a better look at the case sides. Just can't get into them.
    Thanks for the great pics!

Thanks for posting and sharing pics of your Ocean Crawler Paladio's demo. The orange aluminum case sides do add a nice contrast to the stainless steel part of the casing. Plus, the dial and handset look stunning.
