    Ollech and Wajs Zurich

    Hello fellow dive watch enthusiasts!

Just came across Ollech and Wajs and wondering if any members here have any on wrist experience with the brand.

Definitely see some mas62 and doxa 200 inspiration.

An original O&W Caribbean from 1964...it predates the 62MAS and the Doxa 200.

Beautiful! That bezel is of a design shouldn't have been allowed to die. Really cool and innovative. Excellent blend of form and function. Great art.

Various threads on here about the latest incarnation of the company - seems to be well enough regarded but they do have long lugs for their case sizes and not cheap. Timefactors/Smiths in the development stage of a more accurate homage to the famous OW Caribbean, whereas this one is more a modern update. I like the dials on their latest 3 watches and the BOR bracelet on the C-1000 looks great, long skinny lugs rule them out for me. The BOR bracelet hides those lugs quite well - don't look nearly so dagger like without the contrast of a strap.

Why, oh why, did they not see fit to apply lume to all hour markers? For what would seem like a serious attempt at vintage diver reissue, this makes no sense to this forum member.

From worn and wound see this article:

    https://wornandwound.com/ollech-wajs...-c-1000-diver/

As a O&W owner , i hope that the new company will countinue the Ollech & Wajs brand and tradition.

The new Diver ist ok, but i don´t like the big C-1000 writing on the dial.

I would like the old caribbean writing.

    My O&W Cobra.
