Orca.. Broke a couple of tools but was worth it

Bought a new Milanese mesh for my Orca.. unfortunately I had to remove every pin link, bar 1. Why canít they all be screws!

well Iím impatient and sure I had some tools lying around.

well first attempt with the pin removal machine and I didnít line it up properly and snap. Whoops.

Then I remembered I have a handheld one... just have to line it up. Use the base or two book for balance, and use an ice cream scoop to hammer out. Bingo in luck

Got a few done then ... ping , snap . Then I found another smaller metal tool still wrapped up. This got the rest done with some help from nail clippers and a metal ice cream scoop as hammer
The first time time I got sized right I had the clasp folded on the wrong side.. well off it comes again.

Only took and hour, and a lot of swearing but was worth it I reckon

Thanks Rafy, the Milanese mesh are very comfortable and sturdy too. Gives the watch a whole new look.
    Cheers

You’ve got my sympathies. I had a real battle sizing my Oris 65 bracelet and broke a punch doing it.
