Ploprof - king of the deep

Tried this new Ploprof on yesterday - what an epic beast - been thinking about it today - wondering if I should sell something to help towards buying it - its absurd, even more present than my Emperor Tunas - but, whatever, Im 53 and I am having a mid-life crisis and I want it

Would love to see your pics of plo-profs, vintage, new or homage and your experience of them

Mucky aging phone pic does not do it justice

Simon - I'm 55 and having the same watch midlife crisis. I'm going to sell my 1974 Heuer Monaco to buy a few different Tudor watches as the Black Bay P01 has caught my attention as its quirky cool (like the Ploprof). Sure, the Ploprof is overkill for everyday use -- but if you like it, buy it. You (and me) aren't getting any younger.

With regards to what to sell, you might delay selling any existing watches until you are sure you are going to keep Ploprof. If buyer's remorse sets in and you resell the Ploprof, you'll be glad you saved the watch you would have otherwise sold. The black dial (orange strap) version looks great too.

    Much respect to the ploprof.

Iím it makes you smile and itís financially prudent, go for it!

Iím too cautious to ever pull off something like that, but I applaud those that do. Wear what makes you smile.

    Keep us posted.

I've lusted over that watch MANY a time, though I prefer the black-dialed variant. Kudos to Omega for offering a No Date model!

Simon, it may pay for you to try and match a bracelet if the mesh extension does not let you adjust comfortably.
I had one of my older 600's rebuilt at Bienne and kept one as original.
I was going to update to a 1200 steel, but it was too much of a pull to which one to wear.
My advice is scratch the itch and buy for sure...but go through all configurations before final choice..
My couple...(I feel I ruined my old one by returning it to new,I'd really had a lot of memories I erased)
