    Rado captain cook MK I

    Hi everyone,
I am currently looking at purchasing the MK I as my first vintage diver purchase from a local seller. But the watch seems to have quite a few issues.
For instance, the dial is scratched up and shows signs of alteration.
The hands do not seem to be original as well.
Other than that, the movement runs fine.
The seller is asking 60USD for it, should I get it despite the condition its in?
and sorry I'll try to post pics later as my phone seems to be unable to do so currently.
    Cheers,
    Matt

There's SO many vintage dive watches out there to choose from at all price points. Why choose something so beat for your entre in?

my main reason for considering the watch was that I heard that the Rado MK I was a rare find these days and thats what got me interested TBH.
Any other vintage divers to recommend? :)
