Sticky bezel, any tips on maintenence?

The bezel on my SAS sea-01 started getting sticky and inconsistent in a few spots (normally THE BEST bezel I've used). I was juggling a few things on the BBQ the last time I was wearing it, so I suspect some grease has made its way inside. I was thinking of working the bezel while submersed in warm-ish water might help, anyone have any other suggestions or advice?

    Thanks

Try sticking it under warm running water while turning the bezel. Make sure you rotate the watch head around so the running water flows over every spot where the bezel meets the case. That should do the trick.

If washing it out does not work and it's still not working correctly let us know and we will take care of it for you.

Bam! That's awesome customer service. Try imagining the big manufacturers offering to help out with a BBQ-grease-related issue.

    No kidding!

Thanks Graeme, the warm water seemed to help a bit, but there are still a few distinct spots where the bezel resists rotation. Near the 12 marker, I can hear the click-spring raise in pitch as I approach it.

I wouldn't call it a deal breaker, just a shame, as this is the best bezel I've ever handled. Should I give it another go, fully submerged this time? Is a drop if soap in the water frowned upon (bad for the seals, etc?)

    Thanks!

I'm impressed that you found a thread mentioning your watch in the body of the thread but not in the title. It's a pretty pro move that your were the second response to this thread.
