Stowa Prodiver Melon - Pictures and 1st Impression

Here's the new toy I received today. Like a kid in the candy store here are my early impressions:

Dial: The melon color is just that - melon. It's not an orange color. More like a cantelope color and it's spectacular. Don't think I really captured it in the photos.

Hands: This one was made with a custom hand combo. Large and very legible the color matches the markers.

Case: The sandblasted case is massive and gobbles up my hand - love it.

Bezel: A very satisfying snap with each click. A simple but dramatic look.

Crown: One of the neatest looking logos on a crown I've seen. The crown itself is big enough to be easy to turn.

Superlume: I haven't done any real tests but the lume is strong and looks great. I don't know if it will ever beat my Seamaster, but it's excellent.

Bracelet: An attractive, brushed stainless steel, tool-like bracelet. It won't compete with Omega for showy looks but it's very nice. A few high spots were easily polished out. Some machining marks on the end links (which always annoy me) were also easily smoothed out. It also comes with a rubber strap and deployant.

Carrying Case: Very cool industrial case.

Haven't checked the accuracy yet. Will let you know.

All in all, a definite keeper!

Thumbs Up Re: Stowa Prodiver Melon - Pictures and 1st Impression

Very nice pickup. Getting a Seatime myself and if I like it enough I may go for a Prodiver myself either this the melon color or teal if available. Enjoy this baby and thanks for sharing the pics.

congrats on the prodiver. I wouldn't worry about accuracy on those. they are really good right out of the box. good performers.

I quite like the silver hands. might look good on the black dial too.
