Tropic Straps - The Iconic Strap Returns

It looks like Tropic Straps is returning with their original strap design. The iconic "Tropic" brand strap looks like it is being resurrected once again. I just read an article about them over on TLex's OceanicTime. These look really good.

The Tropic website looks like isn't completely active yet, no pricing pages yet. It looks like it is owned by Isofrane, (same company).

I'm interested to see what pricing looks like.

    Thanks for the heads up

    Oceanic time says $79USD.

I love a good tropic strap but I will likely be a late adopter in this and see if others find it worth the premium pricing over what is currently out there.

I know I have tried various tropics and some have been very good and others much less so. But I can also see room for a better version with finer details and a smooth supple finish.

I guess we wait until someone tries them out.

Here’s hoping they offer shorter straps for those small wristed desk divers out there.

Here's hoping that they offer curved ends too!

Thank you for the lead, DEMO. I just moused a 20mm blue add $10.00 freight. I will post once it lands and is mounted. My faux Tropic collection has reached double digits! Finally, I am in the club.

Very cool news. Will be interested to see how the reviews come back from the early adopters.

I'm pretty happy with my Uncle Seiko version which is considerably cheaper in price.

I have a waffle from uncle seiko which is great, I have a tropic which is not so good. I can't recall which I got first. I assume the tropic and his quality has since improved. But I almost exclusively keep my turtle on his waffle.
