What is the best dive watch you can buy under 600 euro?

Hi, what dive watch would you recommend for under 600 euro?

I just bought a book on Amazon called 'I own a watchbox' and read there the brand Steinhart was advised?

You'll get a bunch of different answers. I'm not a fan of Steinhart models that are Rolex clones, though they do have other models that stand on their own. I'm sure others will list the multitude of microbrands out there that provide a great value.

Personally, in that price range, I love Seiko. Well made, nearly indestructible, and a wide variety of models to choose from (Samurai, Turtle, Monster, etc). Also, going gray market, you can look at Tissot Seastars.

Depends on what you're looking for. (style, size, movement type, WR rating etc)

Cant go wrong with Stienhart. and theres loads of other microbrands to look at. Certina & Mido also have some nice options at this price point, along with Seiko & Citizen

Really? Interested to hear your reasoning since Dive watches are not used except as a novelty in Diving.

For that money you will find a bunch of medium tier Swiss brands with ETA or Selitta movements. Pick based on the styling you prefer. I like Squale myself.
