    The 380 is close to a grand more but I can't see the difference. But for some inexplicable reason I find the 380 aesthetically look better.

    Which of the two do you think I should get and which of these two do you think is better?

    I don’t know how to differentiate the two,probably 380 have screw in caseback and higher WR?

    If that’s the case,I’d (consistently) go with the older 380,though I’d bargain the price a bit more...

    From what I see on the dealers,the price of the newer “budget” Panerais are lower than their older counterparts

    I prefer the 380 also. Probably the old school feel of the brand subconsciously pulling towards it.

    380 has a modified ETA movement (Panerai OP II), 754 is the in-house P.6000. If I'm not mistaken, that's the only meaningful difference. Both have 100m of water resistance.
