    WRIST ARMOR: U.S.A.F. Sub Watch

Hi, Gang! Welcome to the New week (and of the month, at that). Sometimes forces beyond my control/reason take possession of me and FORCE ME to purchase a watch. That said: meet the WRIST ARMOR U.S. AIR FORCE Submariner (quartz), with metal alloys for the case and bracelet; the case back IS s/s & watch has a "Japan movement." Haven't pulled off the case back yet to check. Has mineral glass for crystal & a tight bezel requiring a firm hand. Watch measures 47mm x 12mm and tips the scale at 147 grams. We'll see how it goes over the next several days. AND, yes, I'm a veteran of the USAF. dave

I somehow understand those "forces" that take control of you. I too am afflicted by them occasionally. Good luck with the watch, looks good on you. 47mm? the proportions work well on your wrist.

A beautiful looking watch. I do love the white and silver incased indexes and date wheel against the dial's blue colour. Plus the splash of red used on the second hand,

Dude that thing actually looks pretty damn good. Better design aesthetic than a lot of divers out there. It's a beast at 47mm but if you have the wrist size to support it then it seems like a great daily driver.
