    Exquisit - Pallas Deutsche Uhrencooperation

    Bin fuer jeden Hinweis dankbar.

here the same question in English - not sure what the preferrred language of this forum is:
I went through my old watches and found one that was given to me when I was around 15 years old. Brand: Exquisit - Chronometer.
Does anyone know how to determine the actual age of the watch? The only thing I could find out so far is that the brand belonged to Hugo Weinmann - Pallas Deutsche Uhrencooperation, Pforzheim. The watch was second-hand when I got it and I guess it's from before 1950.
    I appreciate any help.

    Hello Herr Gisch,

Welcome to the German watch forum. Though German watch is the
theme, English is the language used here for convenience of the
    international membership.

I don't know that a member here will have experience with this brand.
It would increase the chances of getting help if you could post clear
photos of the dial and movement. Also the back if there are any
    distinguishing marks found there.

Here are some posts from the watchuseek archives which tell about
the Pallas cooperation. Hugo Weinmann is mentioned there.

    Thanks for the quick response.
I have taken pictures from front and back. Can't take one from the movement as I don't have a key to open it - will get this later.

    Hello Herr Gisch,

Thank you for posting the photos.

I don't know anything about the watch. However, from the "bildmarke"
(logo, as shown below) on the back it appears the case was made by
Richard Pfisterer of Pforzheim. Other members will likely know more,
and may identify the movement when they see it.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
with regard to the fact that you are able to write in (good) german I recommend to check some of the several german watch forums. "Exquisit" was a quite popular brand in germany back in the fifties and sixties. I doubt that too many of these watches were sold outside germany.

can you point me in the direction of these german speaking watch formu(s)?
I grew up in Germany and that's where the watch came from.
    Very much appreciated.

Ok, got a picture of the movement - could not find any markings on it - just a couple of numbers.

Hope this helps to identify the watch in more detail.

    Thanks for all the help.

    Hello Herr Gisch,

I think that movement photo could help. Some of the members with
interest in vintage watches are able to recognize movement families
    from the photos.

I can not read the numbers on the movement. Perhaps you could list
    them.

    Thanks,
    rationaltime

the number on the left is 2400 - the one under the balance spring (flywheel) is 2472. I could not make out any manufacturer markings.
