Newest German acquisition arrived today - Junghans Meister Telemeter automatic chronograph. I looked into the history of this model, it goes back to the late 1940s when Junghans contracted with the German military services to produce a new chronograph. A black face model was developed. In 1951, the lighter face model was first produced for the general public. This new production is an homage to the original but upgraded.
This beauty joins my other Teuton examples:
Mühle Glashütte Nautische automatic chronograph
Sinn 903ST "Navitimer" automatic chronograph
Junkers G38 quartz chronograph
Es ist alles gut!
