    Glashutte question.

Hey guys. I really love Glashutte Original. Specifically their perpetual Calendar and their 70s series. I have an omega aqua terra annual and would consider the Glashutte a major step up. But here is my question. I can only afford a second hand model... I would be wearing this watch every day to the office and on a motorcycle, hiking (nothing crazy, not going to pound nails or play tennis with it on).. Can this watch take that kind of day to to day wear? Is there any other higher end watch that can handle day to day wear or is the Aqua terra it?

Also what are the servicing costs like on a used Glashutte?

Service costs are listed on the GO website

Durability and reliability are two very important pillars of GO’s watchmaking philosophy. I’d have no concerns about watches in the Seventies series handling the same duties as your Aqua Terra. Perpetual Calendars I would leave for more cautious activities.

IMHO, they are built like tanks and can last forever if properly maintained.

    Go for it and enjoy.

I agree the build quality is excellent. I believe it can handle anything your Aqua Terra can unless you are diving
