    Most Iconic German Watch?

I'm trying to build a three watch collection from Swiss, German and Japanese watch houses. Moreover, I want the three watches to be iconic. For now I am set with my Big Pilot for the only Swiss watch in my personal collection and some day would like to add a Grand Seiko Snowflake/GMT for the Japanese watch.

It's the German watch that I can't wrap my head around. Specifically, I want the German watch from the town of Glashütte because I did my graduate school in Saxony which limits my options to following brands:

    Glashütte Original
    Mühle Glashütte
    NOMOS
    Wempe
    Tutima
    Union Glashütte

Due to budget constraints, ALS for now is not an option.

Can anyone chime-in on what you would consider the most iconic watch from Glashütte?

    Thanks in-advance

Personally im a fan of the watches from GO and Nomos. All the others seem to fly a bit more under the radar.

Dont dismiss a good quality GUB either. Those have some interesting history to them. Just look at how the design of the spezimatic was used as an inspiration for the GO sixties.

German watches, like others, come in a variety of styles. Based on the Snowflake, are you looking for a dressier watch?

honestly the most iconic german watch would be a flieger but having a swiss pilot would
    kinda make that redundant.

From these brands, a Nomos (Tangente, Orion, Metro), Wempe (Flieger) or GO (Senator Hand Date). That is just my opinion.

How can you talk about iconic German watches without Lange??

The most iconic by a long mile.

Because explicitly written by OP : "Due to budget constraints, ALS for now is not an option."

Sorry my bad, thought the OPs question was “What was the most iconic German watch”

Didn’t take in the that I can afford bit.
