    Damasko DK10 noise. Check Yours?

    Hello,

I've had this noise since the day I got it. Its something quite loud and happend when moving the watch in the axis of the dial/bezel. But does not do laterally.

I made a video to show this. Does yours also make this noise ?

Its almost like a springy noise. People say it's a noisier movement, but I think mine is too much.

    Ease let me know.

That is quite loud. My DS30 also makes noise when rotor moves, which I think it's a common issue for automatic movements, but yours is off the charts!
    My current collection:

    Damasko DS30 yellow (39mm automatic)
    Nomos Tangente (38mm hand wound)
Hamilton Khaki Field (38mm hand wound)
    Citizen Eco-Drive Radio-Controlled AT8000 (43mm quartz)
Lorus (by Seiko) Sports LumiBrite (36mm quartz)

My DK15 makes the same noise, but not anywhere near that loud. I believe the noise coming from the rotor, something to do with the ceramic ball bearings perhaps. It doesn’t bother me at all though. I also understand the movement is based on Valjoux 7750 which also has very noisy rotor, it could be one of the reasons. As long as the timekeeping and PR are fine, I don’t think it’s too much of a problem.

Yes seems to be from the rotor. My da38 was similar. It made the similar noise on the axial shake. This one is just a bit louder. Maybe it's the ceramic bearing?

There is only one small screw holding the rotor on, careful with all that vigorous shaking or you may break it off.

I would bet the rotor screw is loose. Probably an easy fix for a local watchmaker
Current: Seiko SBBN015, Apple Watch, G-Shock, Damasko DA37 (in the air), MKII Paradive (in the air)

Hello. I'll have a closer look to see if the rotor screw is loose. I hope it's just that.
