Anyone have a Seiko GS quartz?

Can you please give me some details on the watch:

    Size?

    Screw down crown?

    SS or Titanium?

    Who sells them?

    Cost?

    Thank you,

Yep. SS. About 2K. Get from Higuchi. Gorgeous piece. Rex would have to answer the rest.

    Quartz lineup...

The GS quartz lineup is here (seiko-watch.co.jp), they don't do a titanium model but do steel, yellow gold, white gold and platinum. Sizes are up to about 39mm (excluding crown).

The page is Japanese but you'll be able to work out the dimensions and prices. Each has two prices - the upper price is with consumption tax (purchase tax) added, the lower is without tax.

I do, I do, and love it!

There are many models to choose between quartz and automatics.

I believe mine is the only quartz model (SBGX035)with a screw down crown and w.r. to 200 meters. The rest are 100 meters w.r. I believe.

Also notice there are no models in automatics that come with lume. Only some of the quartz models have lume.

Grand Seiko is only sold in Japan and some parts of Asia. Not in the US.
Email me for a really cool Japanese source, who's an authorized Seiko
dealer, speaks fluent English, and takes Visa/MasterCard. [email protected]

Re: Anyone have a Seiko GS quartz? YES

I have had one about a year. Here are some images of my watch. Best not to do this at home -- though a quartz watch has to be prepared for battery changes anyway.

Sorry it's so dirty in this first shot.

    Cheers
    Mike

That movement is simply gorgeous. Congrats on a beautiful watch.
