I bought the Certina DS 2 PreciDrive Chronograph as a present for my son around four weeks ago.
Within this period he has experienced 8-10 times that the chrono second hand has moved by itself to a position around 5 o'clock.
When the chronograph is operated, the second hand starts from and resets to this new position.
Each time this has happened, we have manually reset the hand according to the procedure described in the user manual.
It is my understanding that the chronograph hands could need a manual reset at rare occasions.
But it is quite annoying that a manual reset is needed as often as we are experiencing.
Is this behavior to be expected?
Any feedback is appreciated.
