Certina DS Podium Big chronograph problem

    Hi all,

I hope I'm posting this in the right forum.

I recently bought this watch: (can't post links) but Certina DS Podium Big Titanium

I really like the watch, it looks great, hasn't lost a second since I own it and the chronograph is easy to read.

The one issue I have is that the chronograph second hand "re-calibrates" itself on its own randomly and advances by a few seconds. The "zero" position is then 3-5 seconds off and I have to calibrate it by hand to fix it. This happens every other day and is becoming annoying to deal with.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there a problem with the movement? The crown is screwed down at all times so there is no way that I'm changing the calibration by accident.

It's supposed to reset itself every <whatever period> by a full rotation, and to return to zero. If it stops somewhere else then it's faulty, so send it back to Certina.
