Nice update, I like the multiple time zones in the US shown. Also nice that they added the offset info for your PC/tablet/phone like time.is has.

It shows my time and date on the right, but doesn't show the date for the US times. I'm already in 12/2. It would be nice to see 11/2 above the US times just to make it clear who is a day ahead. Can you sort that for me, Ronald?

If I had any NIST contacts,I would, for the good of us HAQers(and I suppose everyone else).

You're American? Email them, https://www.nist.gov/about-nist/contact-us. I'll do so too, but I doubt they will be interested in what a British-Australian says.

Here is the response I just received:

    Hello,

One of your colleagues or users of the site also wrote me about this idea. Here is a copy of my response:
    ---
I see that it could be confusing for someone who is not in a U.S. time zone, because "Today's Date" refers to the local date of the user.
As a design choice, however, we decided not to include the date because we would have to put the date for each time zone, so that as each one goes into a new day, the correct date is shown, but for much of the day, all of the dates are the same.
It could look cluttered to show the date so many times.

We will consider this idea, however and see if there's a clean way to include the date for each time zone.
    ---
I appreciate you looking at these details and making the suggestion.

    Nice to see they're listening.

Figure this *is* an official site of a US government agency...NIST is part of the Department of Commerce. But they have an interest here...Guam's on the other side of the date line. (That Chamorro time? It's Guam.)

Plus there's always the few hours when the eastern time zones go a day ahead of the more western ones.

So there's a clear interest, seems to me, for showing the date for each TZ and for UTC. Once you've done that, then doing it for "your local time" wouldn't seem to be much more effort.

I have to say I'm very impressed with their response: polite, informative and PDQ. BTW, I'm your colleague, Ronald.

That is good to know, as it may have helped to get a timely response.
