Play or slight movement of hands in 251.264 movement

    Hi Everyone,

I recently picked up a new Certina DS-2 Chronograph with the 251.264 CEN (AA) 1/100th of a second movement). Love the watch, can't recommend it enough.

Prior to purchasing this one, the nicest quartz chronograph I had was a 251.262 movement so I'm not incredibly familiar with higher end quartz chronographs which brings me to my question:

Is it normal for there to a very small amount of play in either of the two center- mounted chronograph seconds hands (the regular chrono seconds or the 1/100th seconds hand) while the chronograph is not running and is fully reset?

About half the time they are lined up perfectly and the other half of the time they are just a hair off from each other.

Just wondering if this is normal or if there may be an issue with the movement or perhaps a hands is slightly loose. Everything operates flawlessly.

Here are a couple of shots from straight on to give a sense of what I'm seeing. Hard to capture.

    Thanks in advance!

    Update:

I looked a bit further at the hands this morning and it appears that it is just the 1/100th of second chronograph hand that is moving ever so slightly while in the reset position. Is this normal for this movement?

    Thanks as always

Mine does the same, so does my DS-8. It's normal.
