    Suggestions on manual Temp regulation?

Good evening and happy Harvest Moon.

With my recent interest in HAQ, I purchased an inexpensive Citizen E111 movement to develop a fundamental relationship with Quartz before investing high-end.

As such, I'm interested in the potential for manual temperature regulation. I've tracked its accuracy since Aug-23 with WatchCheck. (See the attached screenshots from Aug-23 - Sep-23). It has gained 1.9secs with daily wear. I'd appreciate your input on how I might encourage it to slow. (Refrigerator overnight?)

Please know I am a complete novice, and that I realize there's much theory my approach is ignorant of. But I'm very interested and appreciate this niche community. I simply appreciate the idea of optimising low-tech performance standards with excessive knowledge :)

Thanks for the time you've put into this.
It's the first step is the hardest.

If you wear the watch overnight, try leaving it off. That should have an effect. The fridge is a bit extreme.

Dear Hans, I remove my watch between 8:30 and 9pm, and put it on between 9:30 and 10am. I live costal California, so the 30day temp throughout the night was seldom colder than 50f indoors, and seldom warmer than 75f at work (not accounting for skin temp).

In that case, overnight in the fridge, doesn't sound too extreme.
    Try once a week first.

The more you check, the more you learn. All good.

NB The watch temperature while on-wrist is around 85 ℉. That doesn't vary much.

Entered a 50f compartment at 11pm. Will touch base in a week :)
