BRUNO SÖHNLE – PRESS RELEASE
It isn‘t easy to be as beautiful as you look. These are the words of legendary actress Sharon Stone who is undisputedly beautiful. And she is right. This is because beauty has a lot to do with concentration on the essentials, i.e. authenticity, charisma and character of a person or object. This ultimately requires extreme discipline, often uncompromising discipline, or specifically a continuous weighing-up, refusal and elimination to skillfully focus on the beautiful: the definition of the traditional Bruno Söhnle design principle, which is also naturally reflected by the established and well-renowned Rondo line with its new creations.
The RONDO AUTOMATIC REGULATOR is just such a new creation. It shines in the same way as its sister models with an exquisite design and excellent craftsmanship made in Glashütte. The highlight is the automatic BS 509R regulator calibre with a big display reserved for minutes and the turning hours and seconds respectively displayed turning at one and seven.
The time in the chronograph models RONDOGRAPH and RONDOGRAPH LADY is maintained by a refined Bruno Söhnle quartz movement. The figureless dial appears unconventional with a large date at the six and stop displays at the three and nine. Attractive colour variations and straps in smooth leather or stainless steel mesh clearly individualise the RONDOGRAPH in line with the brand without being superficial. The RONDOGRAPH LADY has a corresponding feminine touch with gold or rosé coloured case variants and four mini-diamonds set in the dial.
The unconstrained gestures of beauty offered by RONDO BIG and RONDO SMALL with their quartz precision are creative with carefully designed details such as the date and colouring at the two, crown on the four and small second hand at the seven.
The RONDO standard model underlines its clear position in the range with elegant understatement. Three hands and a well-organised dial make the model confident and beautiful in everyday use with its precise quartz movement. The RONDOMAT II with BS175 automatic calibre has a prominent ring around the date on the six which discreetly highlights the unpretentious dial. All Rondo models boast a stainless steel case and an internally non-reflective sapphire glass and on most models the glass bottom naturally allows an insight of the high quality calibre.
