Those are spectacular shoots of your Citizen AQ6021-51E and its black lacquered dial. Congrats on your limited edition Citizen C0100.

I like that it’s a no-date with quickset hour hand. I’d like to see more of that from Citizen, even without the snazzy new movement’s accuracy. Cool watch and agreed that I’m looking forward to seeing more in this direction.

Also cool watch, but wouldn't a GPS watch be a lot easier a way to have an electronic super accurate watch? I'll buy one once it gets to Citizen regular ecodrives.

I am not sure why the App (Twixt) show it that way ...

This is the challenge - being super accurate WITHOUT "outside help" ...

GPS or MultiBand can fail ...

Imagine - you buy this watch and give it to your 7-year-old son - when he retires at 67, the watch runs with a maximum of 1 minute in advance - regardless of external time sources - I find this idea fascinating ...

I am so psyched that you got the 0100, and that you are sharing it with us. It is a lot more than a super accurate movement; it is an achievement of precision and beauty. I could stare at the second hand hitting it's mark all day (I am picturing a slow motion movie of the second hand close up careening towards the next indices and stopping abruptly, only to race off to the next stoplight with Bugatti-like speed.)

I have 8 or 10 satellite watches. I don't need a watch to know what time it is. my minute hand moves every 10 sec a fifth of a minute. I will watch my minute hand move while stuck in a meeting.

A cheap Casio can be even more accurate. A lot of Casios has Multiband 6 and collect a radiosignal every night. I think that one has a difference about 0,000001 in 1 million years.

Once again just for you ...

I also have a few Casio´s with MB6, with BT and GPS but here we are talking about an accurate watch WITHOUT external time scources ...

This is NOT compareable to that what you are talking about ...

Here are a few words out of the brochure that Citizen have added to the watch:

"... The second hand is the symbol of this watch. It is designed to be as long as structural tolerance permits and is made of brass, a material with a unique sheen. We then added a gentle parabolic curve to the outer end of the hand ..."

"... We wanted this watch to express each individual second beautifully. To do this, for the first time on an Eco-Drive watch we used a brass second hand matched with a specially developed powerfull high-holding-torque motor.

Despite the brass second hand having roughly twice the unbalanced weight and moment of interia of an aluminium hand, it rotates with confident elegance, coming to a precise stop every second ..."

    Take a look ...
