The results of the bezel vote are indeed close. White very narrowly led over Slate by two votes. Due to my exclusion of the similar cream option from the previous vote I will initiate one final round between white, cream, and slate.
I don't want this to be seen as diluting white votes down between two similar choices and then losing as a result, so do remember to vote for two or three candidates in order of preference. Many variations are shown to the give best idea of each option.

Second, I have created a forum signature to use in promotion of the project, because we are still only halfway there! We need to get the word out so more people hop on board, particularly those who don't wander onto our side of the huge forum. It animates between the English and Russian text, and you're able to click on it to reach this subforum. Since the bezel vote is again up in the air I settled for two versions to choose from. You can edit your signature by going here, and then pasting in the corresponding code to make it easy.

Since I have been using tapatalk, I haven't even noticed sigs, nor did I have one. I did, however, go out of my way to boot up the old computer and make this my Sig (the slate of course!).

Great work so far, and since I post somewhat often in F71, I really hope it gets noticed and that this project gets the traction it deserves.

Returning to the idea that Vostok means East, IMHO it would be a pity a compass watch missed the meaningful coincidence.
My first suggestion of spelling it out — Восток — on the bezel would clutter that thin and already busy disc.

Now, since there’s only an index for 3 o’clock, why not replace it with Восток, printed if it can’t be applied, between the centre and the right edge of the dial?

    PS: Востоk or Востоk »

Following up my Востоk printed at East idea...
Are we allowed the WUS gunsight logo? It points to the four directions, and with its W placed on West side, it would balance it out.

I’d even like it if upside down: to a Muscovite, it looks so... Metropolitan :D
(This with a bias for the sans-serif version...)

    Molte grazie, compagno.

“Intriguing” may be the key word.
The whole watch will be sooo arcane! And how come it has a 3 at nine o’clock and a B for 3, and is it running backwards? And why Twin Peaks on the back? And is that blue-red needle really showing magnetic North? The South, too?*
And what is your Boctok company, a startup or a Swiss private bank?

A wheeler-dealer friend of mine, specializing in impressionists, lithographs and posters, but often reselling Type E’s and Morgans, or watches (IWC...), taught me once: whatever you sell, sell a story first. A legend. The buyer doesn’t buy a specs sheet, he buys a tale; he’ll casually brag about it, he’ll ad some details for his friends. Maybe he didn’t totally believe the tale, but he appreciated it’s a good one: “se non è vero, è ben trovato” (or “shikarno navrato”, in Odessite linguo). People don’t buy a Daytona, they buy a piece of McQueen (or Newman, I don’t care as I’m not into rollies, nor chronos). Christopher Walken monologue in Pulp Fiction sells a legend more than a watch, which may be a Timex but takes on a smellimental value. You don’t buy a Cartier, but a Santos-Dumont, not a Longines but a Lindbergh, not a Speedo but an Apollo mission! I buy Vostok in great part for their casebacks: Gagarin, Leonov, and I wish — memento mori — there was a Komarov. So, Vostok or Voskhod (even Orient!) mean the same to me. I dream of a Reverso Amphibia, to be worn inside out! If there was an Alan Shepherd watch, I’d fall for it whether it be a Hamilton, Bulova or Timex. The tale, the legend first, with a bit of mystery to tell and beautify around the fireplace.
So what legend do I buy by signing up to the Elbrus? Vladimir Vissotsky, with his songs about alpinists:

    https://youtu.be/oztG4gSH-k8

I read this pitch, and now ponder whether I should register for a second Elbrus — first as keeper, second for investment. Oh, these salesmen... ;)

(*) Talking of arcane private jokes, do we mark it as anti-magnetic? Right: Анти-магнитные, in two words. I’d love the irony!

Agree, the logos No.5&6 from the left are super cool.
