It's an honest question. And it's probably too early to get into details. For example, on an all stainless digital LED watch I can't see too many areas to customize. An engraving on the caseback would be one. Perhaps an engraving on the case.

Ok, that's what I thought, too much like looking at a TV that's turned off.

I would be interested to know what was supposed to have been the advantage of LED over analog to begin with.

LED's weren't the first quartz watches but they were early. I guess some advantages (besides quartz accuracy) would be no moving parts, and easy to read day or night. Plus they look cool.

This is my concern as well. Like I mentioned in the other thread before, I strongly hope they can add a motion sensor to activate the display when you tilt your wrist. This is seen on some other digital watches to easily activate their light without using your other hand.

That's a good idea and I have seen that on other digitals. There's still the risk that you can use up the batteries quickly if the LED turns on on every time you tilt your wrist throughout the day. Unless of course there's a setting for the tilt you can turn on and off....

I really liked the digital amphibian idea that was proposed awhile back when Elbrus was chosen. But maybe that was too wild and out of the box to get produced.

Re: WUS project 2019 - Electronika.

You guy's are missing the point of an LED watch option over an LCD.
If you were rockin the 70s back in the day, LED looked space age tech come to the common people and pressing a button in order to see the time displayed without the irrelevant distraction of extraneous information was a novel concept
It's super legible glowing goodness was a good part of the appeal (think star wars/trek come true)..LCD came next, and although it allowed for more info and functionality to be displayed continually.....it looked then as it does now, pretty boring, hard to see at certain viewing angles and the biggest bugbear in my opinion a crappy light that still made the display S#!+.... hard to read when darkness fell....nuff said!
