Must have high WR if possible. If not then I guess I'm still interested. But again would prefer a high WR.

Yes that's one of the things that should come with a stainless case, the only weak spot of modern Electronika is the limited WR due to the snap in case (I understand the buttons have o-rings).

I would be somewhat interested provided the case is stainless steel, hopefully with a screwed in back. I prefer LCD to LED, simply because you don't have to push a button to see the time.

BTW Technochas just released a black chromed case that would work fine with this proposal.
Here's a revised version with that case. This is under the assumption they can reverse the polarity of the screen as they already demonstrated, and second placing a simple blue film on the screen. It's about as far from the standard LCD Elektronikas and Casios that you can get. I'd check if they can PVD a square case instead, however.

Your Casio photo gives a good idea of how distinctive a simple LCD watch can be just be changing the dial design.

And it also shows how a steel bracelet enhances a colourful dial. Fortunately it is very easy to find a bracelet to match most Technochas cases. The exception being the PVD black case which would probably look best with a silicon strap.

This thread needs more pictures. So...

    1. That idea that I mentioned earlier about inserting a lumed panel behind the LCD may or may not be technically feasible for Technochas, but this design by Arizone would be the perfect one to test it:

    2. I've been playing with pictures again, so here is another very rough idea of a Watchuseek branded watch (also very suitable for the lume idea):

That's great. Is there a current watch in the lineup with a day of the week indicator like in this one? It's a cool system.

Also why is it Л instead of П?

In Russia, it’s for ПТН (Putinday), in Belarus it’s for ЛКШ (Batzko Lukashday).

    Seriously, same reason there’s a И instead of Ь.
Arizone hikes the mountains in the daytime, then draws at night to offer us all these great illustrations, so sometimes a letter gets mistyped between two yawns. No big deal at this point of suggestions rather than project.
