Russian movement archive - Slava 21 jewel manual.

First up, for no particular reason, Slava 21 jewel manual movement with quick change date function. Instantly recognisable as a Slava because there are two mainspring wheels, one either side of the click. The use of two mainsprings is to allow the springs to be thinner and therefore exert a more constant torque upon the movement, leading in turn to a more even rate (allegedly!) Soviet era, The SU is stamped on the plate between the balance cock and one of the train bridges.
